All the credit to The Dragons who out worked the Hitmen for most of the game. After the Hitmen tied the game with 5 minutes to go on Yoel Goodmans goal, it seemed the momentum had shifted the Hitmens way. The rink seemed to be tilting the Hitmen way for a few minutes before that goal and it seemed as if they would keep it going. But a very quick answer came from the Dragons who scored less than a minute later.Raanana was forced to pull Goaltender Yuval Eitan from his net with about 90 seconds remaining on the clock. with about 30 seconds left Raanana started a rush up the left wall the puck was  put deep into the Dragons end but a clearing attempt was knocked down by some thrifty body work by Raanana forward JJ Schwartz. Who fed the puck to Gil Vinokoor who delayed and fed Schecter in the high slot. Schecter was well defended but managed to step around and while falling ,fling a hard pass onto the tape of Schwartz who was crashing the net. It was a little tap in from there and with 17 seconds left Raanana salvaged a point.Raanana who must have a league( might be approaching world) record 4 straight ties also claims to have scored with their net empty every time they’ve had to pull a goalie.Some wierd stats!
